In 2004, the legacy of the Dragonfly began with the Distinguished Birth Mother Candice Marie "Rizzo" Norris. Born on the campus of Roosevelt University, Gamma Theta Chi Multicultural Sorority Inc. has become well known for the diversity among its members and their dedication to embracing women from all walks of life.

The distinguished sisterhood of Gamma Theta Chi is dedicated to supporting philanthropy and committed to positive change in the community.  Encouraging diversity, embracing, friendship and teamwork, they strive to maintain a sense of family and equality as they continue the legacy set forth by the Distinguished Birth Mother for years to come.
